Background

What is Juiced?

Juiced is a membership-based online community of secondhand sellers looking to buy in-demand products and sell them for a profit.

The community lives on Discord, where members get useful tools like insights on new releases and website-monitoring bots. A standalone app, though, would open up far more flexibility and much more powerful features.

My role

As a longtime member of the Juiced community, I jumped at the chance to design the app when it was announced. Working directly with Juiced's leadership and developers, I designed the full app experience with the goals of both the reselling community and the business in mind.

While designing, I served as an alpha tester for the version of the app that already existed. Using my designs as reference, and working alongside developers and leadership, I contributed heavily to the alpha testing program and suggested many changes for the app's further development.

The Problem

Selling secondhand is more work than it looks.

Managing inventory and sourcing new items to buy can be difficult. It's hard to keep track of listings across different platforms, and just as hard to get a clear picture of everything you currently have on hand.

It's also tough for sellers to find new, hyped products worth paying attention to, and tougher still to know when to sell them.

How might we help sellers streamline their workflow and maximize profit with minimal effort?

The Solution

One app for the whole reselling workflow.

The Juiced app builds on the fundamentals of the Discord community, including website monitors, a release calendar, and more, then goes further. Users can manage their inventory and listings, and get AI-powered insights on their items in the context of the current market.

Juiced dashboard

See an overview of your performance

The dashboard gives an in-depth view of buying and selling history, plus AI-generated, actionable insights about your items and where they stand in the current market, so you always know how to get the most out of them.

Juiced inventory page

Manage your inventory

The inventory page lets users keep track of all of their items and the important information for each one, in a single place.

Juiced listings manager

Manage and optimize listings

The listings page shows every active listing across platforms. Keeping prices current across channels is usually a headache, so the listing manager makes sure every item is listed on the right platforms and lets changes be made quickly, everywhere at once.

Juiced releases calendar

Stay ahead of important releases

Anticipated drops and high-demand releases surface here, focused on items likely to resell for a profit, with the information a seller needs to plan a purchase.

Juiced website activity monitor

Monitor websites for new products

The website activity page shows live updates from key sneaker, fashion, and other sites that often carry high-demand products, so users can catch restocks and buy before anyone else.
